ROBOTIC WORK CELLS AT IPS:
IPS is proud of its new Robotic Polishing Cells. These Robotic
and Computer Controlled polishing units can process a wide
variety of parts with uniformity and consistency. The flexibility
of these Robotic-polishing units by way of rapid changeover,
improved parts handling and scheduling allows IPS to continue
offering excellent services that surpass its client’s
requirements. These enclosed units provide a safe working
condition for the operators in terms of reduced noise levels
and have an enhanced set-up to capture dust and dirt air
contaminants. As an ISO certified facility, IPS understands
that along with these new Robotic services they must continually
push its finishing capabilities and efficiency even higher
to maintain its competitive edge within the core industries
it services. IPS continues to meet customer demands, improve
customer satisfaction and achieve continuous improvement.
IPS receives “Clean Industry” recertification.
Environmental
regulations are at the forefront of today’s surface
finishing and metal finishing industries. That is why we
are proud to announce that we have been recertified as a
“Clean Industry”. We were only one of nine companies
to be recertified by the Environmental Office of the Mexican
Federal Government (PROFEPA, equivalent to the EPA in the
US) as a “Clean Industry” in 2008-2009. This
program requires companies to not only meet, but to exceed
environmental regulations set forth by the government. So
we not only meet, but we exceed, what is the required of
us.
We have also obtained the “High Environmental Achievement”
Certification by the Baja California State Government, which
is a volunteer program equivalent to the “National
Environmental Performance Track” in the US. We are
working on obtaining the “Safe Industry” and
“Energy Saving Company”, and “RoHS”
certifications as well.

Large Plating Lines
IPS
has a larger Nickel-Chrome plating line. This state-of-the-art
addition handles larger components of steel, brass, zinc,
bronze, and aluminum, being part of our 16 plating lines
serving the automotive, motorcycle, and gaming industries,
various hardware customers, and many others. This line has
40 oversized tanks and handles parts up to 8’ L X
2’ WX4’ D. For further details, please refer
