IPS is currently looking to hire for the following position:
Economic Analysis Director
Develop and direct economic studies and investigate market data for metal surface finishing services industry.
Analyze data to evaluate the effects of a global economy on business segments and develop policies based on economic indicators. Forecast market trends and implement economic policies designed to maximize growth.
Examine economic factors and measure forecast accuracy per model and product line. Analyze data based on cost determination and statistical techniques and make recommendations to enhance economic performance.
Investigate delivery measurements and develop economic projections.
Create production plans to maximize economic efficiency using statistical data.
Develop models to optimize the economic impact from international transactions.
Prepare reports on economic performance factors and evaluate budgets and financial forecasts using economic models.
The Economic Analysis Director supervises the following employees: Administrative Assistant; Distribution Manager; Technical Process Manager. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in economics (foreign equivalent acceptable) + 60 months post-bachelor’s, progressive experience as economist. The Industrial Program is designed to educate workers about reproductive health care. It offers a variety of courses on sexual and reproductive health, family planning, nutrition, and maternal and infant health. The program also trains the medical staff of maquiladoras (factories) on sexual and reproductive health care and gives workshops on family violence, self-esteem, and stress control. These activities take place within companies, daycare centers, maquiladoras, technical colleges, and other workplaces.
